POSTER

Originally from Namur, Timothy was attracted to music very early on. He finally decided to devote himself to learning the guitar, having first considered harp and conducting. He thus began his training with Jesus Gonzalez Mohino (honorary professor at the Royal Conservatory of Liège) at the age of 9. He then continues with Mohino’s daughter, Maria-Nieves Mohino, with whom he entered at the age of 16 as a "Young Talent" at the IMEP (Namur).
He graduated with great distinction from the IMEP and the Royal Conservatory of Ghent (Yves Storms and Johan Fostier). He also follows numerous internships and master classes abroad with renowned masters. In addition, he won international competitions for young talents (Belgium, France, Germany) and took part in professional competitions (Paris, London).
Wishing to showcase the beauties of classical guitar, Timothy uses his extensive knowledge of the repertoire to mix styles and eras and offer original concert programs. This leads him to perform all over Belgium, as well as in France, Italy, Switzerland and Germany. In addition to his passion for the classical repertoire, Timothy is interested in jazz, free improvisation and world music. It is therefore natural that he composes in a personal style, strong of his multiple influences.
